Beautiful Redbone Coonhound puppies-READY TO GO! Still a few males and females looking for their new homes. Our coonhounds are very affectionate and loyal companions. They are the perfect dog for an active family or avid outdoorsman. Parents: Mom (Willow) is a beautiful dog out of the Timber Chopper line. Her parents are registered but, to date, she is not. Her dad was the top Redbone in 2019. His owner says he’s the best Redbone he’s ever been in the woods with. Willow loves hunting/chasing although she hasn’t actually had any training in that. She also love attention and is a great pet. She weighs approximately 50 pounds. Dad (Wiser) is red beauty! He is not registered but that doesn’t stop him from hunting. He can spend hours on his own hunting/chasing/treeing. He also loves a good game of fetch and is totally addicted to his Kong. He weighed just over 70 pounds when we last weighed him. Coonhounds are high energy dogs bred for hunting. They will need regular, quality exercise. They are great family dogs with personalities similar to the beagle or retriever. They love hunting or any other nose work you have for them to do. They are not normally aggressive but they are good watch dogs. They are very easy to groom.
