We have a great, full-time work opportunity for Class 1 drivers in the region of Calgary. As a Class 1 driver youll deliver and pickup products and goods to and from customer sites. This involves local regional highway driving work, but you will be home every day. Individuals must be able to hand bomb up to 50lbs and be available to work Full time. Schedule flexibility is required.
What we offer: Home every day Pay $23.13/ hr Must be comfortable driving manual transmission, dry van loads, Container work and ocassional hauling some flat deck loads 40-50 hours potential overtime shifts Dedicated start times Direct Hire on Payroll
What you do: Local and regional highway work Perform daily commercial vehicle inspections with the completion of necessary safety checks and monitoring the vehicle for any major/minor defects and report it to safety. Picking and dropping off containers from CN /CP yard. Customers drop off when required. Some LTL Work: use of a pump truck or tailgate as required. Demonstrate Customer Service Standards for delivery service. Accurately obtain required signatures on bill of lading and delivery paperwork Comply with hours-of-service regulations as per ministry of transportation.
