Job Overview As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation and logistics industry by managing your own vehicle while delivering freight across various routes. At B2B Shuttle we offer packages for dispatching, running authority, trailer rental etc. Duties Operate and maintain your own commercial vehicle for transporting freight. Plan and manage delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding delivery status. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Skills Proficient in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Knowledge of automotive repair to perform basic maintenance on your vehicle. Experience in freight handling and logistics operations. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely as required for specific deliveries. Familiarity with forklift operation for loading and unloading freight when necessary. Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and documentation effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
