We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating roll-off trucks to transport and deliver waste containers to various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage heavy equipment efficiently. The Roll Off Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely service and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Operate roll-off trucks safely and efficiently to transport waste containers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload containers at designated locations while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that may occur during operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding schedules and service requirements. Perform basic maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure. Assist in training new drivers on safe driving practices and equipment operation as needed. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations. Familiarity with automotive repair principles to perform basic maintenance on vehicles. Experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with roll-off trucks. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
