Title: Local Driver- Class 1 We have a great, full-time work opportunity for Class 1 drivers in the region of Port Coquitlam. As a Class 1 driver youll deliver and pick up products and goods to and from customer sites. This involves local regional highway driving work, but you will be home every day. What we offer: Home every day. Pay $27.36 applicable shift premiums. Schedule Sunday to Thursday Night shifts 11 PM Start. Annual Boot Allowance Extended benefits and Pension Plan Direct hire with the company (Youll be working on company's payroll form day 1) What you do: Local and regional highway work Perform daily commercial vehicle inspections with the completion of necessary safety checks and monitoring the vehicle for any major/minor defects and report it to safety. Picking and dropping off containers from CN /CP yard. Customers drop off when required. Some LTL Work: use of a pump truck or tailgate as required. Demonstrate Customer Service Standards for delivery service. Accurately obtain required signatures on bill of lading and delivery paperwork Comply with hours-of-service regulations as per the ministry of transportation.
