Rare Emerald Green Laquer finished Maple Slingerlands. Original Evans CAD/CAM black heads top and bottom. Snare and three toms are all the same finish, while bass drum is a super rare 1930s single tension model.
Snare - 14" x 5" 300$ Hi Tom - 13" x 9" 200$ Floor Tom - 18" x 16" 400$ Bass Drum - 28" x14" 600$ (Drums are not for sale separately, this just reflects what their going used value is)
All in meticulous original shape. The bass drum has the original 28" Slingerland Calf Skin heads. They are still working over 80 years later. These skins are coveted because of their thickness, people search for these old heads and pay 150-250$ USD for them because of their longevity. TWO of them here, reflect why the bass drum is 600$, still a bargain for this drum. The Brass cloud badge sells for 150$.
Nice and low tuned at the moment, the 18" floor tom hits lower with a more thunderous notes than many 22" Bass Drums. Then add in the 28" Bass and this kit absolutely wallops without mics, but can be controlled and played very comfortably quiet as well with precision.
One beautiful sounding kit, if you want to see it in person, or feel them out, play them, or ask more questions feel free.
I have a Slingerland Tempo King 938 Buddy Rich model with a Chain Drive, that's a fantastic pedal, all original, in excellent shape that goes with the bass if you want to match it up. Also have a gold plated Slingerland Hi Hat stand I could part with for the right price.
Feel free to contact me if you want more info on these or to come by and check them out in person.
