This is a DIY bike fix.
The bike is in mint condition, but the battery died. I replaced the battery once (re-built it with batteries shipped from a supplier - not Trek).
So if you want this bike to be electric, you have to buy a battery pack and install it yourself. Not too difficult - a little soldering required.
