New custom-made packrigging harnesses in stock - breech and breast collar sets made with the comfort of the packhorse, and ease of adjustment and maintenance in mind. Made in Canada. Combines heavy harness leather, breathable neoprene and quality webbing for a light, comfortable harness, easy to clean and lots of adjustment to fit the draft, draft cross and quarter horse type sizes. Neoprene and webbing is fast-dry. See photos. More photos are available. • Breast collar is 4" wide x 28" long, breathable neoprene with rounded ends over thick but supple reinforced vinyl plate, further reinforced by sewn webbing across breast collar. Rings and snaps are on top of breast collar and are turned in so as not to catch on bushes. Very comfortable for the horse. • Top rump plate to distribute weight and make the joins comfortable is heavy harness leather, 4" wide for comfort x 11" long, with rounded ends • Breech plate is heavy harness leather, 4" wide x 41" long, with trimmed corners • Quality strapping is strong, soft, supple webbing, 1" wide throughout • Hardware is stainless steel • Simple, no-buckle, fast adjustment - ss sliders with plastic slider keepers • All sewing is box stitched for superior strength.
