Competition Equestrian Student Packages at Road to Serenity Farm (Northwest of Saskatoon)

For less than the price of boarding a horse at some facilities, secure a quality lesson horse 3 times a week for 2 lessons and one practice ride at a heated indoor facility, right off highway 16 (approx. 25 min. from the edge of Saskatoon and approx. 40 minutes from the edge of North Battleford). Carpooling with other students is strongly encouraged. The horse is then secured by the rider for any horse shows we attend as a barn for obstacle/trail/cowboy challenges as well as hunter/jumper, depending of the direction of the student (some do both kinds of events). All of the horse's medical, Coggins test, etc. is done for you. There are no extra costs except:

-transport to shows (50 cents per loaded km) -tack you may choose to buy for your lesson horse that must fit the horse (we can also provide tack) -show entries and other misc. horse-show related costs -your yearly Saskatchewan Horse Federation membership -memberships for any associations you may need to compete -coaching at show ($40 per day)

This is far more affordable than owning a horse and taking lessons, and it is intended to give competitive riders the 'feel' of owning a horse. We have some nice quality (both English and Western) horses that get noticed in the show ring!

The student must be independent getting a horse ready and riding on their own.

If new to the facility, it is recommended to take some lessons first to determine a good match before going into a package. Packages should be started no later than February/March in order to prepare for the show season. Riders who are not independent on their own can take lessons to work toward this kind of arrangement. We also offer regular lessons.

$420 per month, incl. tax. 306-202-6737 www.roadtoserenityfarm.com
