John Deere 1530

JD 1530 drill. This drill is custom built and does double duty. The machine has only been used for 250 ac in its life time. I bought new ( never used ) in 2015. It has sat outside most of its life before I bought it but I have kept it shedded ever since. The current custom row unit set up pictured will plant soybean/ wheat, interseeding covers or planting relay beans into wheat. Row units are set on 30” and are 6.5” twin rows utilizing Deere seed splitters. New blades ( 50 ac on them), Needham narrow 2.5” gauge wheels, dual bag air down force. ( this planter is excellent for planting through residue with the seed box on top.) The liquid system has Rebounders with a ground driven liquid diaphragm pump and manifold with check valves. This machine is also being sold with 8 cast iron Maxemerge 2 row units. These units are like new, all joints are tight and comes with pneumatic air downforce bags. ( no tail stock) The units came off a 1790 planter I upgraded with an Exactmerge kit. This drill can be used as a twin row Interseeder, a twin row planter for soys/corn, a relay wheat/ bean planter or change the row units to 8- 30” rows for corn, soys etc. Selling as I am scaling up to a larger interseeder/ relay planter.
