The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglas and published by Peoples Book Club, Chicago. Book was illustrated by Dean Cornwell and has a copyright 1942, with publish date in 1947. Some stains on covers, but otherwise book in good condition with 508 pages. It has 8 beautiful color illustrations and it is rated 4.2 on Goodreads. A historical novel about the crucifixion of Jesus and one of the best sellers in the 1940's. A timeless story of adventure, faith, and romance, a tale of spiritual longing and ultimate redemption.
