Description
Good day! Aquatic animals are my passion. I am originally from the Netherlands, where I studied animal care management and specialized myself in fresh water aquariums. I have been in the aquarium hobby for 30 years and currently have an entire fishroom that I build in 2022, in which many fish have found their for ever home.
Some fish stay with me, and others move on to find new homes while I take care of them in the mean time. I currently have space again to take in small fish and aquarium supplies for free, that are no longer needed, no matter the reason.
Your fish will have a good home here, and I will give them the care they need. I currently have a red eared slider rescue turtle and 2 small dogs that also came from kijiji that needed a new home.
Most of my fish and aquariums come from kijiji as well, and I am incredibly grateful that I have been able to help out so many people in the past few years by taking in their fish and either give them a permanent home, or take the time to find them good and permanent homes.
If you have any fish or supplies that you would like to donate or can no longer take care off, feel free to message me and I can let you know if I have space for the species that you want to rehome.
I do not drive unfortunately, so I would like to ask you if you can bring the fish (and / or supplies) to me. I will do my best to pick up whatever I can or can meet at Greenwood subways station. The drop off location is at Greenwood and Danforth, East York, Toronto.
Thank you so much for reading :) If you have any other questions, feel free to message me. Have a look at my current fishroom if you like in the pictures!
Here is a list of the fish that have found their home with me permanently: Angelfish, Discus fish, different types f pleco's, kuhli loaches, Otocinclus catfish, hovering zebra loaches, longfin danio's, guppies, corydoras catfish, platies, mollies, dwarf rainbow fish, boesmani rainbowfish, kili fish, different types of tetra's, snails and neocaridina shrimp.
