This is as close to a guaranteed limit out hunt as you can get. Regular season has been over for a couple weeks, the small geese are gone and it is just the big geese left. This is a one a day hunt as the geese can fly anywhere from mid morning to mid afternoon depending on weather. We get to the field about sunrise to set 12 dozen full body and sleeper shell decoys. We are hunting out of either heated Aframe blinds or layouts. We are fortunate that the river doesn't freeze until the end of December at the earliest. This keeps the birds around and relatively unmolested by hunters. We do see a good number of mallards during these hunts depending on the year.
Hunts run November 15-December 15.
$300/hunter/day.
2 day minimum, 4 hunter minimum, 8 hunter maximum.
This hunt doesn't included accommodations or meals or bird cleaning.
