This complete long-distance observation kit includes 4 main items: Hawke Sport Optics Nature-Trek 16-48x65mm spotting scope, Manfrotto MT190XPRO3 tripod legs, Manfrotto MHXPRO-2W video head and Manfrotto MBAG80PN tripod bag: Hawke Sport Optics Nature-Trek 16-48x65mm spotting scope: Features 65mm objective lens, 16-48x zoom eyepiece with 45-degree angled viewing, fully multi-coated optics, retractable sunshade, waterproof/fogproof body and stay-on soft scope case. This scope has a short close-focus range of 11.5 ft. (3.5m) and delivers very sharp images with remarkably low chromatic aberration, even near the top of the zoom range. About 14" long and weighs 2.5 lbs. Mods: Original eyepiece was replaced with a larger Orion 7.2-21.6mm zoom telescope eyepiece, modified for screw-in mounting. This 2-inch wide eyepiece features a 7-element/4-group fully-multicoated optical design, 20-18mm eye relief range, a 42-65 degree apparent field of view (138-71 ft. @ 1,000 yards true field of view) and a twist-up eyecup. -- Manfrotto video tripod: This tripod is the union of the Manfrotto MHXPRO-2W 2-way video head and Manfrotto MT190XPRO3 tripod legs. True fluid head with damping cartridges for super smooth pans and tilts; 2-level drag settings on the tilt axis. Tripod legs feature quick-flip leg locks, independent leg angle adjustment (4 presets) and a 90-degree (horizontal) adjustable center column. Maximum height: about 67" at quick-release plate; minimum height: 15.5"; folded length: 27"; weight: 6.2 lbs; load capacity: 8.8 lbs. Comes with two quick-release plates (one already mounted on scope). Mods: The original rubber leg grips were replaced with thicker/longer foam-rubber leggings; the head's pan handle was replaced with a modified telescoping unit (original pan handle included). -- Manfrotto MBAG80PN tripod bag: Made of heavily padded, water resistant ballistic nylon; adjustable shoulder strap. Mods: Added a seatbelt pad to the strap for shoulder padding. You get everything shown in the past pic. Over $1,500 was spent on this rig; barely used; like new.
