Just pull up on the trigger to have the reel wind in all slack line when retrieving a catch. The rod is a 4 piece Wright & McGill TrailMaster No. 4TMU rated for 7 wt line. The handle portion is presently set up as a fly rod but can be quickly converted into a mediun action spinning rod setup if so desired. (See included pic) The Mitchell 710 reel comes with 2 spools: one set up with brand new 7 wt floating line, the second with brand new 7 wt sinking line.
