Set of Traditional rawhide snow shoes They fit adults up to 200 pounds They measure 42 inches top to bottom They measure 13 1/2 inches wide They have two tightly fit cross bars tenons. The tail acts as a rudder which allows the snowshoe to track in a straight line with each step. The rudder also acts as a counter balance, helping the foot to pivot at the toe hole and helping to discharge snow from atop the snowshoe. This snow shoe is excellent for recreational walks in all sorts of conditions. The heavy duty lacing is ideal for spring time conditions and wet snow. Commonly called the Huron, Michigan, Algonquin, or the Maine model Comes with leather bindings as shown in the photo. In excellent condition.
