Active Age Loss believes that everyone deserves a clinical standard of care and we are committed to helping men and women over 45 get back to feeling their best. Aging well should be everyone’s priority and we will show you how! We are proud to be offering Functional Fitness Levels 1-3 in Small Group Sessions! ONLY 4 participants and the instructor! ***Classes date and times to be confirmed after 4 participants have been registered.*** Available for both private and public groups! You can either get 4 friends together and pick your own date / time/ and any HRM REC Center Location. Or, join our open to the public sessions and meet at Findlay Community Center in Dartmouth every every Monday at 5 PM, every Wednesday at 5 PM, or every Fridays at 10 AM for the Month of November! (4 sessions total) ***Class Level, date, and times to be confirmed after 4 participants have been registered for the public class***It is just outstanding what can be done with personalized and strategic exercises to prevent your individual barriers and the challenges of aging in general. This will be a multi-disciplinary approach to regaining function , and is NOT a traditional resistance training regiment. My program will consist of once a week with me plus your at home sessions and a weekly lifestyle focus!______________________________________________________Level 1 - FRAIL / MOSTLY INDEPENDENT / SEDENTARY ( Approx. Age 70+ or Sedentary / Completely Unfit) We wi`ll start with tackling the basics of mobility, increasing range of motion, coordination, flexibility, core and stabilizing muscle strengthening, beginning postural fixing and balance exercises. Although the course undoubtedly focuses on the physical body, we will also target the brain, lifestyle factors, and wholesome living techniques.Level 2 - INDEPENDENT / GENERALIZED WEAKNESS ( Approx. Age 60+, or Independent but Rarely Exercises)We will advance into light to moderate power training, in depth postural fixes, flexibility, balance, and pilates to re-route movement patterns. Included will be lifestyle factors, brain teasers, and wholesome living techniques.Level 3 - ACTIVE LIFESTYLE /SEMI-FIT (determined by fitness level, not age) We will be training more advanced power, boxing, pilates, mobility, some boxing techniques and posture fixing exercises. Additional Lifestyle choices will be investigated thoroughly. --------------------------------------------------------------
