Yes, free. Renewing my post as many are asking for units this time of year. If you are replacing yours, please consider my posting, below.. Many thanks. I repair desktops and laptops for FREE. I do not need your hard drives, mouse, monitor or keyboards but will take them if you want to get rid of them. I do this in my spare time now that I'm retired. Located in Dartmouth, Cole Harbour area. I have been doing this for about 5 years. Since 2023 I rebuilt, repaired and upgraded, then donated about 100 units. Some went as far away as the Dominican and others to schools, students, seniors and the less fortunate. I will often have desktops and laptops ready to give away. That list grows fast if you NEED one, let me know, I may just have one at that time but no guarantees. I never BUY or SELL, I only donate. If I am not able to repair, I'll let you know up front. Pictures in this post are borrowed from other Internet sites. Generally speaking, the units I upgrade are not built for gaming, mostly for Internet and word processing, the basics. These are not slow, and not fast and I install Windows (if reinstall is needed). I install Chrome OS Flex as well for those strictly looking for a browser. Moving data and recovering data like photos from an older unit shouldn't be an issue either if that's what you need. Again, no charge for servicing. Why pay ridiculous fees at a prof shop. Will meet at a public, and well lit parking church lot in Cole Harbour. Thanks for reading.
