SEEKING HAPPY/INTELLIGENT PEOPLE, FOR CONVERSATION & FRIENDSHIP

My better friends have moved or are busy with their jobs/families. So I'm looking for smart and articulate, English speaking men or women, any age, to expand my social circle. In person or just by phone. Preferably music/art creat!ve types, who can think outside the box -OR- Who might be into esoteric, metaphysical things and Eastern Philosophy/Spirituality. Also, to make youtube clips that are informative, fun and up-lifting. People who are positive, calm, smart, focused and with a certain amount of energy/drive to want to accomplish things in their life (so, no couch potatoes). A sense of humour (even on crappy days) and having had a happy childhood also helps. I'm an easy going, *straight* single male, with no kids. Minimal social drinker and lead a reasonably healthy lifestyle. Born in the Year of the Dog. I'm not on here to date, but if I met the right person... then who knows? BUT: We'd still have to be good friends first. I also speak French and German, but I don't type it! I have liberal as well as conservative values. So for what ever it's worth: I believe in gender/racial equality, am opposed to abortion or death penalties and think there's more to life than watching TV, video games or hanging around bars. I'm agnostic, meaning that I believe in a higher power, but won't pray to it. Certainly not to some guy who couldn't get out of being nailed to a cross... :o In which case, I doubt that he could handle too much else, eh? : ) I try to avoid politics, because as the band "the Who" once said: "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss" -BUT- as far as the Trump VS Trudeau debate goes: children scream and adults converse... I'm especially *NOT* interested in debating my views -VS- yours. I don't expect everyone to agree with *all* of my values, just as long as we share the same basic core beliefs and can respect each other. THINGS THAT I *DO NOT* CARE ABOUT: -sports, partying/drinking, dancing, -restaurants, coffee, poetry, facebook, -gossip, trump, wica, christ (capitals omitted on purpose) -movies where someone gets killed every five minutes -music with screaming -or- guys going YO! -or- banjos -OR- gullible toads who believe anything that they read on the internet - IE: the BBC is *not* a left wing media outlet! Seriously... Substance free, non-smokers only (that would also include E-cigarettes). -SOME OF MY INTERESTS: PLAYING MUSIC, YARD SALES, FLEA MARKETS, NATURE, MEDITATION, PHOTOGRAPHY, COOKING, SCIENCE, CATS, JAZZ, BAROQUE, 70's rock, (I'D LIKE TO LEARN YOGA) ART, CYCLING, & SPIRITUAL/ESOTERIC WISDOM If this sounds interesting, then tell me a bit about yourself.
