Solid Oak 6-Piece King Bedroom Suite

This set belonged to my grandparents- they had it custom made (Schomberg) in the 80s. Excellent craftsmanship- see closeup of blanket box corner for example of quality. Includes: King Poster Bed Frame (middle support not included) 2 Nightstands Dresser w/Tilting Oval Mirror Armoire Blanket Box There is some wear, but overall it’s in really decent shape. Nightstands, dresser, and blanket box are near-perfect. Armoire has a little piece that just chipped off the inside of one of the drawers this past week, but I have the piece and it can be put back, I just don’t have the means to at the moment. Bed frame has a cosmetic (not structural) split on the inside of the footboard (along a horizontal seam- can also probably be fixed), but easily covered with a blanket (with the wood grain I hardly ever notice it). Last photo shows it- it’s only about 1/3 across the footboard, and not even close to being able to fit any coin in. Love the set, but I have already moved it three times…it’s time to pass it along. Please note: they smoked, so would do best with someone who doesn’t mind that, or who has means to get rid of the smell. I’ve used this set for the past few years- I haven’t really tried to get rid of the smell, so not sure what it would take to lift or seal the smoke. Pickup in Meaford. You must be able to load it yourself. Each piece will require at least two people to lift. It’s currently at home, but will soon be moved into a storage unit. Would prefer to not have to move it more than necessary, so please let me know asap if interested.
