Fall is a great time to plant: The top of the tree is getting ready to go dormant. The ground is warm enough that roots will grow and get established. Plus, it's a lot more pleasant to plant now than in cold mud in May.

Prices range from $7.50 for a 1 liter tree to $35 for a 15 liter potted tree.
