ELDERBERRY OFFSHOOTS...these come picked to order, bare-root and ready to plant. Offshoots are lateral shoots that are produced on the main stem of a plant. Plant these out now in your selected spot.
These offshoots are one branch with roots on, ready to grow (see pics)--they are all at least one year old and can be anywhere from 2 to 4 feet tall. Pics show plants in late April before leafing out.
*A CANADIAN NATIVE PLANT--Wild Elderberry is a native shrub that grows to be about 8-10 feet and boasts creamy-white flowers in mid-summer, giving way to loose clusters of delicious black fruits that are high in nutrients and antioxidants. The foliage then turns a deep burgundy in Autumn, completing the wonderfully-changing cycle of this beautiful shrub.
