Perennial flower.
Sun-loving easy to grow, hardy, heat and drought-tolerant. Also grow in full sun to partial shade.
Sow seed directly in soil and covering 1/8 inch of dirt. Water and plan to thin the seedlings as needed.
Blooms late June to mid August.
Height 2-4 feet tall, width 1-3 feet.
Dry to moist soil.
Tends to bloom in their second year.
Deadhead spent blossoms to improve the plant's appearance, encourage reblooming, and reduce or prevent self-seeding.
