What's Included:
- A plastic takeout box of 750-1250ml (depending on the size of the box)
- Red Wrigglers: Filled with lively and thriving red wiggler worms, this is the best kind of worm for composting. These hardworking little composters that will turn your kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich vermicompost!
- Compost: A generous amount of high-quality compost that your worms have been working diligently to create. Perfect for enriching your soil and promoting plant growth.
- Bedding: I use bedding shredded with an electric shredder since this gets it the smallest possible and allows the worms best access & provides the ideal environment for the worms to thrive and multiply. It's a cozy home for your new composting companions.
What's Not Included:
- The composting box is not included, but any lidded container with ventilation holes will work perfectly as a home for your new worm buddies. You can find YouTube videos of how to make them, or pick one yourself.
This is what I got when I originally started my worm composting journey and it has now grown to a community with too many worms and too much compost (hence why I'm selling some!)
Unfortunately since worms wriggle around and as they are afraid of light they tend to dive back further into the compost I am unable to confirm how many worms are in each kit. I scoop them from the bottom of the bin so you get as many worms as possible!
