    BACKUP BATTERY FOR BELL HOME HUB 3000 - N.I.B. The Bell Home Hub 3000 modem requires an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) to maintain phone service during power outages1. As of June 1, 2021, Bell no longer offers the Home Hub 3000 backup battery for purchase. To install a battery in the Home Hub 3000, slide open the battery compartment door on the bottom of the modem, remove any existing battery, insert the new battery, and close the door.
