Acadian Maple Products, located on busy Peggys Cove Road in Upper Tantallon, is looking for an energetic full-time Warehouse employee to join our sweet team! Acadian Maple is authentically Nova Scotian, with 40 years of continuous operation as a leading maple food products manufacturer and retailer. Acadian Maple attracts visitors from all around the world to its newly renovated location, while continuing to enhance its community presence in the beautiful St Margaret’s Bay area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and organizing products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or invoices.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and participating in inventory audits.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Assist with production operations as needed.
• Venture into customer relations including deliveries and sales.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Experience driving forklift (extended reach truck)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
