NOW HIRING!!! Personal Movers is looking for RELIABLE, MATURE, PUNCTUAL, POSITIVE, STRONG, COACHABLE, and PROFESSIONAL individuals who would be interested in working for our growing moving company.
Mover Duties and Responsibilities:
Pack/prepare, Load/unload items.
Take inventory when necessary.
Handle customer requests.
Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks such as:
Before leaving the customer's loading/unloading site, clean up, and gather any supplies and/or garbage left behind during the packing/loading process. Keep trucks clean-front and back.
Mover Skills and Qualifications:
Attention to detail and knowledge of proper packaging, loading, and unloading. Being able to do heavy lifting, loading, and unloading heavy boxes and items such as treadmills and pianos. Moving some heavy items requires a lot of physical strength and endurance.
Follow customers' requests, answer their questions, and be able to defuse situations with dissatisfied customers.
Being a team player is key.
Organizational skills:
Able to plan how best to pack items and arrange them in the moving truck, storage units, containers, etc.
Movers start between $20-$22/hr depending on experience level.
Drivers start between $20-$28/hr depending on experience level.
