KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Set up and operate the Heidelberg SM102 press in an efficient manner Ø Meet established production targets Ø Ensure Quality standards are maintained, monitor product quality, including the necessary checks periodically throughout the production Ø Maintain equipment and work area with Press Maintenance, exceptional housekeeping, and safety standards/environment Ø Read and follow (SOPs), Customer Special Procedures (CSPs) Ø Interpret docket information, instructions, layouts, etc.; accurately complete all paperwork Ø Adhere to and perform duties in an established Healthcare/ Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment Ø Review new constructions, opportunities, R & D, and assess the viability of Printing equipment Ø Suggest improvements on production orders and running conditions of the press; troubleshooting capabilities Ø Adhere to production schedules; organize, plan, and prioritize work Ø Other related bindery and print duties as required
Qualifications, and Requirements:
Ø High School Diploma or GED Ø Minimum 2 years of experience with Heidelberg presses Ø Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the CP2000 console Ø Good working knowledge of the Offset Press Department and its role within an Offset/Bindery company Ø Strong Mechanical aptitude Ø Strong understanding of color; preference will be given to candidates with X-Rite color theory/management Ø Team Player with strong communication skills; ability to work well with co-workers in a fast-paced team environment Ø Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision Ø Quality and Continuous Improvement mindset Ø Good mathematical skills are required for basic math calculations ___________________ ExPro Staffing
