Part-Time Meat Processing / Food Production Helper – Scarborough

We are looking for a reliable part-time employee to help with food production at a facility near Markham Road & Steeles Ave E in Scarborough. Pay: Starting around $18-$20/hour Position: Part-time Main production day: Friday The work includes: * Preparing and processing raw meat products * Weighing ingredients and following recipes accurately * Operating meat-processing equipment * Packing and organizing finished products * Loading, unloading and moving boxes * Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and the production area * General production duties Previous experience in meat processing, food production, a butcher shop, restaurant/kitchen or warehouse environment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Experience operating a meat bandsaw is a strong plus. We are mainly looking for someone who is: * Reliable and punctual * Hardworking and comfortable with physical work * Comfortable handling raw and frozen meat * Able to lift approximately 40–50 lb * Clean and attentive to food-safety procedures * Able to follow instructions and recipes carefully * Available on Fridays * Interested in consistent part-time work If interested, please send: 1.
