Job Description: As a Farm Operator at Koeman Farms, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our farming activities. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and managing various pieces of equipment, including trucks, combines, and sprayers, to support day-to-day farming operations. This is a seasonal position, from April to November. Key Responsibilities: • Trucking: Drive a Super-B to assist in the delivery of our grains to the local elevators. • Seeding: Haul seed and fertilizer to the field • Harvesting: Operate machinery during harvest, whether it’s trucking, combining or driving grain cart etc. • Spraying: Help with spraying and or hauling water to the field during the spraying season. • Field Work: Additional field work can include: tillage, • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, cleaning equipment and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance. • Yard Work and Organization: Assist with various tasks on the farm, including required yard work and ensuring clean and organized work areas.   Qualifications & Experience: • Class 1 Drivers License is a requirement • 2-3 years Truck driving experience • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience operating farm equipment • Previous spraying experience is an asset Skills & Requirements: • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. • Great work ethic combined with an eagerness to learn • Positive attitude and team player • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions and physically demanding tasks. • Strong verbal communication Benefits: • Competitive wage based on experience ($30-$35/hr) • Supportive work environment and a close-knit team How to Apply: If you’re ready to take your farm operation skills to the next level and contribute to a growing, innovative farm, apply today!
