We are an established company in Nisku, with over 30 years of operation and are continuing to grow in the recycling/ hazardous waste industry. In doing so, the following opportunity is available to a qualified candidate.
General Labor/ Site Waste Technician
-Physical labor
-Indoor and outdoor work
-Training provided in all areas
-Forklift an asset, but will train if needed
-Health Benefits after 3 months
-40 hours/week
-4 Day Work Week (Monday - Thursday) 7:00am - 5:30pm
-Hourly Wage Starting at $20.00, plus an incentive structure that can be an additional $10.00+/hour for processing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-The candidate must be able to effectively communicate in and be able to comprehend English.
-Ability to think quickly and apply problem solving skills to situations as they come up;
-Ability to work in a positive team environment;
-Ability to work with hand and power tools;
-Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling (50+ pounds);
-Frequent bending, twisting and standing;
-Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather conditions;
-Understand and adhere to all of Recycle Systems policies and procedures
