H. Feitsma Farms Ltd. is a large family owned grain farm, located in the heart of Alberta, Ponoka. We strive for high productivity and good land stewardship through the use of modern farming practices. We are currently seeking candidates, with attention to detail, for full time and seasonal employment to assist with all major farming operations. In particular, seeking an experienced sprayer operator. The suitable candidate will be joining a highly motivated team and have the potential for future growth. We offer a competitive wage based on experience. Housing accommodations available and warm meals provided during seeding and harvest.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
* seeding, liquid manure hauling, planting, spraying, and harvesting
* operating large farm equipment
* maintaining and servicing farm equipment
* transporting trucks
Qualifications Required;
* 1-2 years minimum related farming experience
* valid drivers license with clean abstract (class 1 considered an asset)
* pesticide application cert. considered an asset
* be mechanically inclined
* able to follow directions and work independently
* willingness to work long seasonal hours
* physically fit
* familiar with Microsoft Office
* familiar with Ag technology and GPS
