we have an opportunity available in the Mississauga area near Laird and the Collegeway as a Packager. This role is with a leader in the paper and packaging solutions industry. You will be assigned to a packaging line handling plastic packaging products. The ideal packager candidate will have machine operating experience, quality control and excellent attention to detail. what will you be responsible for?
- Performing machine operating duties on a packaging line
- Handling plastic packaging products for food/wineries
- Performing various manufacturing and production tasks
- Unload boxes and stage the machines
- Visual inspection of the final packaged items
- Label items
- Follow company safety standards
- Working in a moderate to fast-paced environment
- Keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition while maintaining related quality control, production and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Other duties as assigned
