Job Summary Working within the existing farm team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and upkeep of farm equipment such as air drills, sprayers, combines, and semis. The successful candidate will also be required to perform equipment running maintenance and repairs. The successful candidate will be awarded flexible full-time year-round employment & industry leading wages based on experience. Responsibilities: • Assist in the day-to-day logistics of farm operations • Operate seeding and harvest equipment in a safe and efficient manner • Perform running maintenance requirements and repair small breakdowns as required • Operate high clearance sprayer in a safe and efficient manner; including pesticide mixing, field operation, road operation, rinse out, and running maintenance • Upkeep of farm and bin yards including mowing grass, spraying weeds, trimming trees & clearing snow • Assist in the annual repairs and maintenance of equipment fleet • Operate highway tractor/trailer units to transport products including seed and fertilizer to air drills, water and chemical to sprayers, grain from fields to bin yards or point of sale • Assist with the operation and maintenance of pivot irrigation system Desired Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum two (2) years grain farm experience • Class 5 Drivers Licence • Class 1A Drivers Licence • Saskatchewan Pesticide Applicator Licence • Mechanical experience • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail • Conduct tasks with ethics and integrity • Priority will be given to the candidate with western Canada farm experience Compensation • Industry leading wages based on experience • Housing and vehicle may be supplied to successful candidate Please forward resume's to brandt@ausmusfarms.com.
