Hillsidefarms at kincaid sk has 2 seasonal positions on our large mixed farm operation it may extend to year round for the right people. We run grain, cattle and gravel. We run moderate aged machinery 2010- 2020 First position general farm mechanic Able to diagnose and fix most of the equipment on the farm properly and quickly that means mechanical break downs and electrical break downs. Able to work independantly and able to work with others. When not fixing the equipment you can assist with other jobs on the farm: Rock pickin Rolling Calving Feeding cows Grain cart Hrs: 8-5 monday- friday on call during seeding and harvest Wage: $30- 35 a hour Position 2 general labourer This position will be expected to work by themselves and with a team. Able to work long hours during seeding/haying/harvest. Able to get the job done effeciently and correctly Comfortable working with cattle and either knows how to run the machinery or your a fast learner and willing to learn. 1a is a strong asset to have with hauling cattle, grain, gravel. But its not a must. Need valid class 5. Jobs include General cattle duties Baling Swathing Fixing fence/building fence Grain side responsibilitys: Cleaning grain Seeding Rolling Rock picking Combining Grain cart Running the water truck for spraying Other responsibilitys will be: running track hoe If you have 1a hauling gravel for local rm or people in the area Hrs: 200-250 hrs a month average Wage: $20-28 a hour depending on experience Call loren condie at 306 264 7733 for more information
