I'm selling a classic here haha. At least 20 years old but in mint shape outside of a bit of surface scratching. The neck on this thing is incredible. Unfinished with a fantastic profile. I've actually sold off a few P basses over the years because I preferred the neck on this bass.
As you can see I've done a bit of modding. The J pickup went full feedback a few years back so I pulled it and had it professionally rewired with a new CTS 250k pot. The stock P pickup is solid. Super dynamic and has a nice growl when you dig in. The bass also had a pro setup at R Guitars a few years back while it was getting re-wired.
This is a fantastic bass as is but also 100% ready to be modded if you want to add that J pickup back in. I was going to get a custom pickguard made to cover the holes but never got around to it.
Beautiful 3D quilted maple blue burst top with a maple neck and rosewood board. Once of my favorite bass shapes ever. You don't see much quilt like this anymore.
Selling because we are moving into a condo in the next few months and I don't play much bass anymore. This has basically lived in the case in my storage room for it's entire life outside of a bit of jamming when I was younger.
Reduced to $450. Comes with Schaller strap locks ($40 value) , as well as a Gator waterproof hardcase ($250 value).
