    Alvarez 1990/91

    ALL SOLID WOODS. And all straight-straight grained!

    HAND MADE.

    Beautiful, resonant mahogany neck---nice thick straight grained as solid wood sides and back; solid spruce top supreme with mature sound.

    No 2000-5000 dollar Gibson, Martin, etc has this SOUND!

    Had new light-weight tuners and marketa bone nut installed, couple frets replaced, frets buffed a few years back by ItalMelodie Montreal's Luthier---more than 375 dollars cost back then, would be 500+ these dismal economic days.

    Due to Alvarez being all solid woods, and custom tuners (stay in tune forever), very light weight.

    Nice low action. Frets/fret-board pristine.

    stains bottom and top of sound-hole from tape used to hold my sound-hole pickup CAN be easily removed.
