Description

“Snakehead-Style” Esquire/Tele Ever wanted a Fender Snakehead, the guitar that Leo Fender produced as a prototype in 1949, but maybe a more playable version? Here’s your opportunity. This “snakehead” has twist though, with a modern, compound radius, Warmoth maple telecaster neck with gold Gotoh tuning keys (Kluson-style). Frets are vintage profile. It’s a skunk stripe neck as shown. Note the unofficial Fender Telecaster decal. The body is a custom Tonebomb Snakehead-style body. I’ve elected not to put a pickguard on it as the matte, dark-stained body’s grain is just too nice to cover up! Schaller strap buttons and straplocks are included. For electronics, there is a single Seymour Duncan ‘59 Broadcaster pickup mounted to a Wilkinson Staggered, three-saddle ashtray bridge with brass saddles. The brass volume and tone knobs complement the saddles and the tuning keys. The control plate is a piece of stainless steel. Features: - Warmoth - compound radius 10”-16” Fender licensed Tele-style neck with aftermarket “Fender Telecaster” decal - Tonebomb custom pine body, 1 1/2” thick, rough finished and stained - Gotoh SD91-05M Tuners (Kluson-style) - Seymour Duncan STL-1B Vintage Broadcaster - Tele Bridge Pickup - Wilkinson Staggered Saddle Compensated Telecaster Bridge Nickel
