Description

Up for sale is a 1990 Chicago Series Washburn KC40v electric guitar in a Woodstone Blue finish with maple neck and poplar body. Other then the scratches on the backside (see pics), it looks and plays great. This guitar was the competitor to the Fender Stratocaster guitar hence similar pickup setup. Some info regarding this guitar: WASHBURN KC (Chicago) SERIES Dates of manufacture: 1989 to 1992 The Washburn KC40 was made from 1989 to 1992 and was a Chicago Series superstrat that had an ultra thin bolt-on maple neck and a solid wood body. The neck joint was angled back and the body had deeply scalloped cutaways to improve access to the upper frets. The KC40 had a 22 jumbo fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, six-on-one-side tuners, Floyd Rose 600S Pro tremolo with locking nut, one exposed humbucker and two single coil Washburn pickups (HSS) controlled by two knobs (1 volume, 1 tone), five-way switch, chrome hardware. I am the second owner, I have owned it since the early 2000s. $325
