Early 2000's Cort MGM-1. - Agathis body (a tonewood similar to mahogany, but lighter in weight) with a quilted maple top (a proper maple top, not a veneer). - 24 3/4" scale mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, profile similar to Gibson's Slim Taper - Mighty-Mite humbuckers, push/pull on the tone control for coil tapping. - Gold hardware, mother of pearl tuning pegs
How does it sound/play? I'd say it'll match or best most Epiphone Les Pauls.
Now, as to the damage in the last two pictures. When I acquired it, it had two chunks out of it in the lower bout and upper horn. My attempt at touching up the paint and coating it may be a little sloppy, but across a room you could barely tell and the lower bout is smooth to ensure it won't scratch your arm.
Minor cosmetic issues aside, a great entry-to-mid-level instrument.
