2012 Fender American Standard Stratocaster - Mint w/ Upgrades (S

Selling a 2012 USA Fender Strat with hard shell case. Serial Number US12136227. The instrument and case have zero cosmetic wear, they are like new. I've never taken the guitar out of my house. There were four upgrades made to the guitar that were installed by a professional luthier: 1. The pickups were upgraded to a matched set of Seymour Duncan SSL-1s / '50s Californias (~$250–$300 CAD value). 2. White Tortise Shell Pick Guard. 3. The nut was upgraded to a Fender LSR Roller Nut. The original bone nut is in the case. 4. Upgraded with Fender Locking Tuners. (The LSR Roller Nut and Locking Tuners are a ~$180 CAD value) I installed the Dunlop Straplok System (a $30 CAD value) which provides a quick release mechanism and ensures the strap is well secured to the guitar. I will include the Fender Brand leather guitar strap with the guitar ($75 CAD value). All of the original paperwork that came with the guitar is included. The neck on the guitar is straight and true. The guitar has always been stored in a humidity controlled environment. The 2026 equivalent of this guitar is the Fender American Professional II Stratocaster and it sells for $2,399.99 CAD including hard shell case. Reason for selling: I am selling this as well as a Takamine 12-string acoustic in order to purchase a custom J45 style slope shoulder acoustic. I have eight guitars and they are not getting played enough.
