This is a semi-hollow body guitar I built from a Solo ESK-35 kit. Finished in Wine color with white bindings and gold hardware.
The body in mahogany with flame maple top. Double cut-away, 1 ¾ inches thick. The neck is mahogany with rosewood fingerboard (22 fret, 24.75 inch scale length). Quite a light guitar – weighs approx. 11 lbs.
Upgraded the kit parts to higher quality parts, including:
- Roller tune-a-matic bridge
- Gotoh Tail stop
- Solo Pro locking machine heads
- Graph Tech Tusq nut
- Upgraded pots, caps, jack, three-way selector switch
The neck pickup is Seymour Duncan ’59 SH-1N (humbucker)
The bridge pickup is DiMarzio 36th anniversary PAFs DP223 (humbucker).
Plays great, sounds great.
No low-balls, no trades.
