PRS CU22 SEMI-HOLLOW NO F-HOLE - RARE!

1997 PRS Custom 22 Semi-hollow. Rare option for this era of PRS with no F holes. Root Beer color, Dragon pickups, 7lbs, Wide Fat neck, gorgeous chocolate fretboard and original hard shell case. These models had the bodies routed out and usually a separate back glued to the body. This method of building ended up making the guitar slightly thicker than solid CU 22’s. The real difference lies in the tone change. PRS' usually have a mid forward sonic curve and this semi-hollow construction changes that and actually scoops the mids. So the guitar seemingly has more sparkle and bottom….GREAT sounding unique guitar. Condition is just amazing for the age! Someone will be very happy...
