Position Overview: We are looking for a Registered Psychologist with a minimum of five years of experience in psychological testing and assessment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments for a variety of concerns, including psychoeducational evaluations, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and mood disorders.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including but not limited to psychoeducational, ASD, ADHD, and mood disorders of children, adolescents and adults Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of psychological tests. Write detailed, clear, and concise assessment reports. Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to provide feedback and recommendations. Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical records in accordance with professional standards. Participate in regular supervision and team meetings as required. Provide supervision requirements for provisional psychologists Opportunities for providing therapy and presentations in the community
Requirements: Registered Psychologist in Alberta: Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP). Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in conducting psychological assessments. Expertise: Proficiency in administering and interpreting assessments related to psychoeducational concerns, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and mood disorders. Sample Work: Ability to provide a sample assessment report as part of the application process. Testing Materials: Must provide and maintain your own psychological testing materials and tools. Strong Clinical Skills: Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations effectively. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, families, and other professionals. Ethics and Professionalism: Adherence to professional ethics and standards in all aspects of practice. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Familiarity with a variety of psychological assessment tools. Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
