Home Support Worker

Job Duties: • Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting • Supporting mobility and ensuring personal hygiene and comfort • Providing household assistance, including light housekeeping, laundry, and general tidying • Preparing and planning meals according to dietary needs or preferences • Shopping for groceries and essential household items • Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals • Assisting with prescribed exercises or physical therapy routines • Offering companionship and emotional support to promote well-being • Engaging in social interaction to reduce loneliness and isolation • Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, or social outings • Maintaining a safe environment by minimizing fall risks and other hazards • Trained in First Aid and CPR to respond effectively in emergencies • Physically capable of lifting and transferring clients or equipment weighing between 45–60 kg Terms of employment: Permanent full-time position Language of work: English Wages: $21.00 Location of work: Toronto, Ontario – The applicant should be willing to relocate to Toronto/ON.
