Healthcare aid needed every second weekend to get adult male quadriplegic up in the morning and help throughout the day.
Duties include but not limited to:
Help client with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, transfer client from bed to wheelchair using mechanical lift. Adjust the client in his chair properly. Help prepare and serve meals, do laundry and light house keeping. Driving client to appointments, shopping and other occasions in a wheelchair minivan. Help with catheter care and bowel routine.
The shift is 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. every second weekend which will be determined by availability.
Wage: $18 - $19.50/hour
Qualifications:
-Read, write and speak English.
-Good driver's license.
-Willing to help people with physical disabilities .Experience would an asset . On the job training will be given.
