1976 M35A2 Military Army Truck 6x6 - Multifuel MLVW

This is a good condition 1976 M35A2 truck produced by Jeep Kaiser. This truck is equipped with a White multifuel, inline-6 whistler turbo diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Power is put to the wheels through a 2-speed transfer case. The truck is equipped with selectable 4x6 or 6x6 and includes a PTO driven front mounted winch. Braking is provided with an air over hydraulic system. It runs on a 24V electrical system. The truck has 3 x 31 series batteries to provide additional starting power in cold environments. The truck runs, drives, stops and otherwise functions as intended. It has approximately 1300 hours on the engine and approximately 33,000 miles on the odometer This truck was put through an extensive restoration during its life, approximately around 2009 - 2011 and has been well maintained since then. During this restoration minor improvements and alterations were made in order for the vehicle to be road legal and to replicate the exterior appearance of a Canadian Armed Forces MLVW. It has been rust proofed numerous times and it shows in the condition of the vehicle. The truck has minor rust is merely on the surface. This truck is currently having work done to it, but is for sale. As work is completed the price of the truck will increase. Work currently completed: engine oil changed, coolant flush and changed, new air filter installed, all lubrication points have been greased and valve covers have been removed; engine top end cleaned along with valve clearance and push rods inspected. Currently to pass safety the truck will need some tires replaced, some leaking wheel cylinders replaced, cracked front windshield replaced (included), windshield wipers motors replaced (included), windshield wiper hose replaced (included) and some marker light wiring finished. This truck does have proper Ontario registration and can be placed on the road with valid insurance, safety, and licensing, unlike many similar trucks that can be found for sale. Used vehicle information package is clean and included. A variety of operator, maintenance, and repair manuals are included. Lots of spare components are included in purchase including tires/rims, brakes, parking brake, tie rod, tail lights, head lights, clevis hooks, new front windshields etc. Price will increase as more work is done.
