Motic BA-310 Polarizing Microscope

The microscope was purchased in 2021 from Motic in Vancouver brand new and its still in new condition. The microscope comes with 4, 10, 20, 40X infinity objectives on the microscope turret. All the objectives are Plan Achromat, strain free and each objective can be centered individually. I also include an extra 60X objective ideal which I used for photographing interference patterns of crystals with the built in Bertrand lens. The microscope includes a rotating top polarizer, and built in base polarizer. The top lens of the condenswer can swing out for low power objectives. It has a rotating circular stage It comes with 2 - 10X wide field eyepies and two photomicrogaphy eyepies 2.5X and 5X with a rotating phototube for attaching a digital camera. It also has a full full wave compensator filter that slides above the objectives. The additional accessories I am including cost over $1500 alone. I am currently using it with a Canon Mark II camera (which is not included). I have 3 new spare lightbulbs and a removable mechanical stage for slides. This is a professional polarizing microscope. The microscope is sturdy yet light in weight to carry or transport. I have taken numerous photomicrographs with it (see below). The microscope is ideal for a Petrographer, biologist or forensic science investigator. It includes a microscope cover and manual.
