Maddie is a saddlebred cross with a background from the amish.
The good: broke to the nines to ride, has more go than woah, but listens without a second thought, is the best horse I've ever had to pick up feet, is good with the ferrier, I have taken her on a bunch of endurance trail rides, all of different difficulty and terrain and she loved it (including overnight trail rides in Algonquin park), is currently stalled with a turn out of a mixed heard, is mid on the pecking order, doesn't give anything dirty, easy keeper in the winter if blanketed, no buck, bolt, or rear, doesn't spook. She's rode past cars, 4 wheelers, cows, pigs, across bridges, rushing water, etc and has always been perfectly fine, and trailers perfectly
The 'bad': - she is difficult to catch in a large field but is more easily caught in a smaller field. I think this could be fixed with someone willing to work with her more - she may need shoes probably just on her front feet depending on how much riding you do.
I am selling her due to moving away for school.
