Welsh/Haflinger Cross Ponies

Bella is 12.3 and Tara is 12.2 - 9yr old sisters. Chestnut with flaxen mane/tail. Green started for riding and driving. Need someone to further their training and bring out their potential. Great project ponies. Respond well to Positive Reinforcement approach training not a heavy hand. Wonderful sweet personalities that will follow you around all day. Smart, curious, and calm natured. Bella is the more outgoing friendly one, Tara, is a little more reserved at first as she is a thinker, but does like attention, and is the better trained of the two. Ties, load and trailer well, great with farrier and vet. Exposed to kids, dogs, vehicles, machinery, farm life. Easy to catch and halter in field. No health issues, UTD on worming, vaccines, trims, dentals. Great feet! They have been driven in pairs, but will need a restart with someone experienced. It is best to focus on training them in single cart first. Not for beginner kids, but they are good at lead lining but need a confident, calm handler. They do like kids but require experienced adult or very savvy kid to work with them. The potential to be a matching pair of driving ponies will take dedication and time to build their confidence. They have a beautiful matched movement. They must go together, to a very experienced, patient trainer that knows to first build the connection so they can become willing partners. I am only selling due to moving out of the area or I would be keeping them as they have come along way with me and we have built up a nice bond.
